Bodil Marie Thomsen is a Visiting Fulbright Professor in Scandinavian
Studies, University of Washington, Seattle, Spring Quarter 2005, march
28th - june 10th. Her course for graduate students in Scandinavian Studies
and Comparative Literature is on New Wave Danish and French Cinemas:
Image, Affect, Ethics. Vorious papers on the films of Lars von Trier, new
forms of realism and digital space are given at University of Alberta in
Canada (20th and 21st of march), at The Simpson Center for the Humanities,
UW., Seattle (15th of april), at The Sass Conference in Portland (5th-7th
of may) and at Portland State University (27th of may).
